#20 — What I Learned from my conversations with Entrepreneurs & CEOs of Startups
Over the past three months, I embarked on a journey that allowed me to talk to Entrepreneurs, Startup CEO’s and Venture Capitalists that are funding these Startup’s. It started with my desire to invest into Startup’s and become a VC, find the right technology, find the right team, and identify those Unicorn’s and their path to success. What I learned about the industry and the people in that journey has been eye opening in ways, what fuels their success and where they struggle.
These conversations revealed the most common challenges and insights that are often overlooked in the bustling world of entrepreneurship, every founder wants to build that Unicorn, but we see a handful of them at the end of their journey, while some die on the vine, some get acquired and some make it all the way to IPO. Here’s what I’ve learned, underscored by real examples and reflections on how these insights shape the future of startups, the investments and an opportunity to help the Startup world.
Today, the help that Entrepreneurs and Startup CEO’s need is mostly defined around the need to raise venture funding, build an amazing product, and drive revenue, but the results of these discussions have helped me lead to the pieces that are required for the overall success of the startup.
